Virtual Stamp Weekend on SCS! Wohoo!

New things to use was an easy one...this little Changito monkey was just purchased recently because of Linda(Studbo's) darling card. She even so nicely sent me some stamped images. I'm using some old SU paper that goes perfectly for this time of year. The flower brads are new also I colored the flower with my teal marker then applied pink stickles on top of that. It really made the teal color come out more. The monkey has liquid applique on his hat, gloves, books and beverage. The beverage had copper embossing powder added then it was heated.

This was a fun challenge once I decided what my colors would be. I used pink pirouette for the base and pixie pink for the punched edges. Regal rose for the wide color edged in black with black scallops on top of that then sweet stems stamped on top of bella rose paper with pixie and passion pink inks. These were touched with two-way glue then dazzling diamonds added to that.

This was quite a challenge for me. The pink passion I think was was made it more of a challenge. I stamped riding hood red on the pink and versamark with white embossing powder. The pieces were attached to black card stock and put through the cuddlebug for texture. I added the 3 flowers from the SU flower punch and a filigree brad in the center of that with leaves from my Martha Steward punch where I used Bella Rose paper. It was mounted on kiwi paper from bella rose and riding hood red ribbon on top of that. Pretty in pink is the base which was put through the cuttlebug with the small dots.

The set A Little Somthin' was a set I just couldn't wait to get. When I saw it in the catalog all I saw was the shapes and how fun they would be to use with punches. I didn't see the sayings which are NOT me at all! When I got the set I said, "Awwwww, how am I going to use these sayings!!" Anyway, here's a way to use them on VSN! LOL
I used the retired SU scrapbook paper flowers and friends. I used my fiskars punch and made a border on both sides. I stamped in choc chip the heart stamp with choc chip. The turquoise is cuttlebugged with flowers. The Thanks a Bunch is mounted on dimensionals and I added the filigree flower brad.

I got a great start Friday Night, then got busy here at home so I didn't get any more stamping done for these challenges. Oh well...................I hope you had time to blog hop and see what you can see through all of there creative letters.
Bless you for stopping by.
