Altered Basket

I was asked by our current PTA president to make a basket of cards for her to give to the incoming president. This is what I came up with. I found a basket at Michael's which was 3.99 and 40% off that, and added a paper rim with the eyelet punch all the way around. I then added paper to the handle and ribbon on top of that. This went together quickly and easily. I then included 15 thank you cards 5 birthday and 5 sympathy cards as requested. I hope she liked it.
I've never done this before so it was fun to see it take shape. I will keep this in mind as a gift instead of a box or bag if needed.

Thanks for stopping by today. I'm blessed that you visit and that God continues to give me grace and mercy each day.

The perfect gift basket! Also a great way to display your work at a craft sale or small business. Thanks for sharing, I know she loved it. Diane/Lost in the 60's/Planted in Joy
