Color Challenge and Scrapbooking Catch Up

Check out Michelle's blog here to find the directions on how to make this amazing work of art! http://zindorf.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/page/2/Instead of using the ink to make my lines for the background, I used my bone folder to draw lines then inked those. Thanks Michelle for making me feel like an artist!

This is for two challenges, the faux burnt edges technique lovers challenge and the color challenge for today. I stamped the map in navy and crumpled it up. Then used caramel ink and saffron ink(I don't have craft paper) to shade the map. I edged the map in black ink after ripping it. The background was run through the cuttlebug. Praying for you has dimensionals behind it.

Ben was on a travel baseball team during 2005. It was a good year for him. His dad was one of his coaches for years and this year was no different.

These are three of my favorite poses of Ben during the 2005 season.

This is a page that shows the girl's who were the sister's of the players on the team. The formed a girl's club and had the best summer NOT watching the games!

I am using this vacation to catch up on my scrapbooking pages. These are from Ben's 2005 season. His team won the Father's Day Tournament after many grueling games in the hot, hot, sun.
I had a friend over who is making her parent's 50th wedding anniversary invitations. It will be gold and white. She is coming over Thursday so we can put them together. I can't wait to see what color ribbon she chose to accent the card.
Have a wonderful day. Bless you for stopping by.
Thank you again to those of you who have sent a card to my mom. She is still amazed that people would do that for a total stranger! I love how these miracles of God just show up for people! I don't think she remembers that I do that for total strangers too. Sometimes it's the way of the card maker ya know? We stamp and we give away......
