We're Almost There!

We have 3 1/2 days left in our school year. Today we went to Sarah's former school's 6th grade graduation which was bittersweet. Sweet to see old friends again, bitter because she was watching it not in it. Two years Ben went to the Middle School as a 7th grader and had a big decision to make. We had to either leave Sarah at the Private Christian school she was in and have 3 school schedules to work around, or have her go to the public middle school with Ben.
Unfortunately Tim and I couldn't imagine working with Ben's schedule, Sarah's at the Private school, and mine in another school district. I felt badly that this was what had to be.
Anyway, Sarah had a wonderful time with her friends today. We decorated a t-shirt with a class picture on the front and back which was ironed on. Then today Sarah asked her former classmates to sign her shirt. I'll have to get a picture of her shirt soon and post it.

This was vanilla cardstock that I ran through the Big Shot with a Sizzix embossing folder. Next I colored the flowers with pastels and q-tips. I covered the front with vellum and used the eyelet border punch. Next I added the oval all thank you that I had punched out around the edges and used daubers to add color. I then added apricot paper to the back layer so the vellum would show up better.

This is for Ways to Use It 221 where you had to make something you didn't have a stamp for. I loved this stamp set when I saw it and thought it would be fun to make a card as though you were looking in on a therapy session and see him through and window and can see the wallpaper etc. I used Berry Bliss designer paper for the wallpaper. I tore apricot paper and stamped in choc chip. The therapist is stamped in choc chip and colored with watercolor crayons and an aqua painter. the cupcake was made with the tab punch and the scallop punch. I added sprinkles to the cupcake.

I have just finished my progress reports for my student's education plans so I am done with all of the paperwork needed for the student's last day of school. YAHOO!!!
Now I just have to finish the DVD for Monday!
Thank you for visiting.........another doctor visit Monday.............my hip and knee haven't improved at all. Please pray for me.
