Friday We Found Out and We Want To Know

Well today we found out that I need to be at the hospital at noon Monday. Surgery will be at 1:30 p.m. I'm not happy that I can't eat from midnight Sunday night through after 3 on Monday. Oh well, I have to keep telling myself that it's God's timing not mine.

Please pray for me, my family and all who will participate in my surgery and recovery. Thank you for doing this.

I came across this stamp as I was going through stamps that were donated to me. Does anyone know anything about it? It sure looks like it would be gorgeous once colored.

Added Judy's comment about this stamp:

I found it in the 1997-1998 catalog on page 134. It sold for $8.95 That is the oldest catty I have. My first catty and the insanity began!!!! Been a Stampin Up fanatic ever since.. teehhee

The flowers and leaves were watercolored using wwc and an aqua painter. The flowers were mounted on orchid cardstock with dimensionals. The border was banana cardstock that was sponged with sunshine yellow, mustard and curry.

This butterfly was colored with watercolor crayons and an aquapainter. The background was sponged on. I used temporary adhesive to hold the top note die cut out onto the white cardstock. Then I used daubers to add the different colors: mambo, razzleberry and cranberry

This card was made using my brayer and several colors of ink: sunshine yellow, razzleberry, durango. I placed the cut out of the top note die onto white cardstock with a temporary adhesive then used the brayer to add colors, lightest to darkest. The butterfly was colored with daubers then versamarked and UTEE used several times then put into the freezer to make the cracked glass affect.

I've gotten lots done this week so DH won't have so much to do once I'm laid up in the hospital. Please pray for all of us.

Bless you for stopping by today.

I visit your blog everyday, and am always happy to see your entries. Blessings to you, and I will think of you in my prayers for your surgery, that the Lord blesses the skill of the doctors for sure!

You will be in my prayers during your stay at the hospital. I hope this does the trick, living with pain is not fun. I know your DH will spoil you when you come home.
