Summer Goodbye

The limited supply challenge this morning was summer scenes since summer is almost over. Sniff, sniff, I hate that since that means I have to go back to work. (Laugh now Hope, another day off is coming soon in the life of a teacher!) LOL
This little guy is one of my favorite images for summer. It is a Penny Black image called Surfin'.
I used markers on the cat, used a dauber for the clouds and markers and an aqua painter for the water.

It's interesting how we grow in our craft but don't notice it. Sarah found a card I made using this same little guy. Check out the difference: Oh my............

I'm sure glad God is working with me to better my skills. I know we all continue to grow and learn in our craft. Check out galleries of anyone when they first started stamping and look at their gallery as they've continued to post....wow it's amazing! Don't compare yourself to anyone but yourself in your gallery. You were born with certain gifts and talents. Your artwork is YOUR artwork, not a copy of someone else's work. Continue to learn and grow in your craft. Make sure you continue to grow and serve the Lord as well.
A hip update: I shopped today at the little produce/deli nearby. I drove and Ben and I got things we needed. I have to tell you by the time I got home I was ready for a nap! I had to stay awake however because of Splitcoasts VSN weekend!
Tomorrow I get to go to church for the first time in about 6 weeks! Can't wait.
Thank you for visiting, bless you.
