Time Line, a Donation and Medallion Fun

My Sweet Sarah worked all weekend on this beautiful timeline. This teacher I think is getting ready for Open House with a project like this the first week. It was a cool assignment though. The teacher asked each student to pick 5 things they liked, then put something on their timeline that has to do with that item. Sarah had some favorite Christian bands she liked, so she listed things like winning a Dove Award, the year a CD came out and when A&W Rootbeer was made!

Cool way to find out more about kids, I think. The bottom time line had Family items listed. I think she did a fantastic job on this project. I actually made it to the timeline too with my silver hat from surgery.

I was blessed to receive a box of cards sent from a wonderful woman who wanted to donate them to our Card Ministry. Here are three of the cards that she made using small beads. She had lots of different kinds of cards she made with different materials. Thank you God for allowing us to receive gifts from others to make a difference in someone's life.

What an interesting and difficult challenge I participated in............You have to copy a card for a chosen gallery and change some things in it. This was the second or third time I've tried this challenge on SCS and it was difficult because I have a hard time copying someone. It's easier for me to sit down and just make a card. Thanks Darlene for allowing us to copy and change your works of art.

We had lots of rain this weekend. We had a nice afternoon today and the sun came out. The guys have been watching the Little League World Series on TV for the past two weeks. Their team won and they were delighted that we could have dinner in front of the tv to watch the last two innings of the game. We NEVER watch tv and have dinner!

Thanks for checking in with us. Bless you.
