Vintage All The Way

Ways To Use It Challenge 233 on Splitcoast.
I knew when I read this challenge which stamp set I'd use, Friendship's Journey. I embossed in gold the medallion stamp. I used kraft paper and used tim holtz tattered rose and tea dye distress inks to dull the paper. I tore the image and used the same two inks on the image and choc chip on the edtes so they'd look burned.

I knew what I wanted to use for this challenge, the second I read it. I stamped in sepia then lightly colored using a blender pen. I distressed the sides with the distressing tool. I used tattered rose ink from tim holtz on the flower from the pretties kit, then I heated the flower so it would wrinkle. I crumpled the paper and inked it once crumpled. I also inked the ribbon so it wouldn't be white. The medallion stamp with versamark was used then gold ep.

I love vintage things and lace and really enjoyed making these cards. I am going to miss these challenges during the day once I get back to work full time.
Thanks for stopping by.
