Anyway, I had a great day and felt comfortable with all that went on. I thank God for His hand in all of this as well. I couldn't have done it without Him.
This card was done for the color challenge on SCS. The colors were olive, eggplant and black.
I went with simple today which I usually don't do. When I saw these colors I immediately thought of this set Blossoms Abound, which is retired, but will forever remain in my collection of stamps. I put a cut out circle on my cardstock and added the center circle and stamped eggplant around those. The I removed the masks and stamped off once to do the leaves on the wreath. Then I added the corner leaves and ribbon. I am going to have our Card Ministry make this card Friday.

These are the baskets I put together and decorated for people I work with. I wanted to let them know how much I've appreciated all they've done to run my classroom in my absence. I filled the baskets with cards, 3-D items, and tea. I love how easy it is to buy an inexpensive basket, you add ribbon to it and it looks so nice!

In Physical Therapy today I was given a new exercise that really did my knees in......lunges. I really don't like to do those. My knees cracked each time I did one. I'm praying that I don't have arthritis in my knees.......I've heard that knee surgery is more painful and harder to get through than hip surgery...........
I'm thanking God today for my family, for my husband and all of the work he does around here. My kids for all of their love and support through this surgery time.
I have a cute story.......Today I had P.T. after kids went to school. Sarah helped me get my tennis shoes tied before she left for school. I had to shower after P.T. and couldn't tie my left shoe so I had to wear my sandals today. I told Sarah I missed her today. They keep telling me to find a pair of shoes with velcro........but I have this really cool pair of leather Reebok's that I got at an outlet and paid half-price for. Why do I want to wear velcro tennis shoes instead of my cool Reeboks?
Vanity, vanity huh? LOL
Thanks for dropping in today. I hope you are truly blessed and feel God's presence in your life.
