Monkey Business

Isn't this just the cutest monkey you've ever seen? I had fun making this card today. I thought of Cindy-Mothermark as I added the bellybutton diamond.......a story appeared. This is Mel who has been good all of his life. He's done what his parents have asked and has never strayed from the path. That is until one day his friend Annie, who Mel really, really liked, asked if he wanted to skip school and do something fun. It took a lot of convincing, but Annie got Mel to skip school with her. They had great fun and Mel was starting to really like this new way of life. As they walked past a little known shop, Annie said she wanted to get her belly button pierced. This threw Mel into a major panic knowing he'd probably go along with the plan since he really, really wanted Annie to like him. Annie was once again very convincing so Mel went into the shop with her. Annie said she'd like to see him go first that way he wouldn't chicken out. So, after hyperventilating and deep breathing, Mel agreed to go first. This is the result of that fateful trip out of school......a heart shaped earring in his belly button. Mel has Annie's heart for now, but is trying to keep his earring out of sight from others who might tell his parents. He's feeling remorse for his activity yet doesn't want to disappoint Annie. He hides under a banana leaf so his parents won't see the look on his face which is a dead giveaway that he's done something out of the ordinary. Will he be able to pull it off??

Can you tell I'm back to work? I can't find time in the day to stamp, photograph, upload, and blog.........My day job is only half-days and it's getting in the way! The 21st I go back full time.
