Assembly Line Cards

I can't believe how quickly my card making went today. I started by finding the many images I'd colored during my time at doctor's offices waiting for kids. Then I took out a retired designer paper from SU Holiday Harmony and began to cut pieces for backgrounds for the cards. Then I put pieces through the Cuttlebug to emboss them. Next I added extra paper for the design, attached the paper and ribbon then added the greeting for the front. After that I added the inside text. Little by little I worked on this today and finished 25 cards! I was thinking I wouldn't have hand made cards this year because of my July surgery, however, God had other plans. I have other cards to make but I will work on them some time later this week.
Today I went to the third service with DH, then we went out to lunch. We had 30 minutes until we had to pick up kids, so he took me to JoAnn's to shop. I found the wreath I wanted for the front door and the candle holder in a pine sort of table wreath. I put it on the coffee table and our male cat, Sam took an interest in it. So DH moved it on top of the fridge! I was a little annoyed however DH believes that Sam ate fake pine last year and almost died. Now I have to go out and find some spray so the cat will stay away from the pine. We have a fake tree as well, so who knows what that silly cat will do.
It was so nice to spend time with DH today. He is taking me on a SECRET DATE next Saturday for my birthday. I can't wait to see where we go.
