What a Busy Weekend We've Had!

Do you know we had Friday off for a snow day and I still feel like I've got so much to do.
Friday the kids and I took all the Christmas decorations down.  It took a bit longer without DH but we did it. This was done after kids got the snow removed from the driveway and sidewalks.  We all heard the snow day call and proceeded to go back to sleep.  There's NOTHING like a SNOW DAY!  That unexpected  free day.
I did get to read my book and finished it.  Woohoo, now I can begin another one.  I have 5 sitting on my dresser just waiting to be read.  I order books from the libary and have to wait until they are available.  Guess what, I got 5 at the same time!  I can renew most of them so that's what I do.
Friday I got a delivery from SU which came at 11 a.m.  Can you believe I was so busy that I didn't open that box until 3 p.m.  I don't think I've ever waited that long before. LOL
Because our Card Ministry was cancelled due to the expected Lake Effect snow, I made the cards we were supposed to make since people needed them.  That's how I spent my part of my Saturday evening so they could go to church Sunday. Another part of Saturday evening was attending a potluck at church where they asked me to share about the Card Ministry.  It was a nice time.
Sunday was spent taking DD to church then coming home to get workshop materials together so I could meet back at church with the lady having the workshop.   Then I took DD to get clothes and some groceries.  DH pulled in the same time we did and offered to take us to dinner, so it was 3 by the time we got home.
We went back to church tonight, DD had small group and I went to service. Got home at 8 and had dinner.  Then got back to the long, boring paperwork I have to do for work.
Time to rest and get some sleep.  Take care and continue to bless those around you.
