Beautiful Sunday

Hi there, it's a gorgeous day here in Cleveland. Gotta say it's a bit hot for me, so I'm in the air conditioning. It's about 84 out there and so pretty. I got some garden pics. and have had time to make images I've watercolored, into cards. It's amazing how quickly it goes once the image is colored. I then had to find paper to go with them, then embellishments.
Here are a few of my favorites.

These are darling 3x3" cards from Dawn's website. You won't believe how easy they are. Monochromatic never looked so great! Thanks Dawn, you can find her video here:http://dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad...es-video-.html

I changed the colors and got another lovely card. I also used gold brads instead of silver. I used coral and pretty in pink to get a lighter shade. I also decided I didn't need to sponge the whole card with mustard and pumpkin to get the sun color, so I only did a small area at the top left of the card.

I used gold brads instead of silver. Thanks Dawn, this came at a time when I need to follow someone else's design and not come up with one of my own.
This was colored with watercolor crayons and an aqua painter. I mounted the images on black paper. I used the eyelet border punch on the designer paper. I also used the wide oval and scallop oval punches.

This butterfly was colored with watercolor crayons and an aqua painter. I colored the orange part of the butterfly with orange 3-D tubes. I put the teal cardstock through the big shot with a new sizzix frame with birds and leaves. Isn't it pretty? I added white ribbon and mounted with dimensionals
