Playing with new Toys-Mr. Brown was here

I was tortured yesterday, it was awful!  Mr. Brown delivered my first order of the new catty and it arrived at 10:30 a.m.  I am using a walker to move about and cannot pick up boxes from the front porch.  I have two teenagers asleep upstairs and I debate; do I wake them or let them sleep..........I waited an hour then one stirred so I called up and had her bring it in.  That was the LONGEST hour I'm telling you! LOL

Today on SCS color challenge we had to used wasabi, marina mist and cherry.  The extra part of the challenge  was to make a card for Mark an 11 year old with cancer.  So I knew immediately I wanted to make a card using my new owl punch.  The whole card used punches.  Here it is.  See what you think. I didn't have wasabi so I used olive and celery papers.

Here are two cards I got today in the mail.  Thanks Karen and Sandi. The first card is from Sandi.  It looks like a cute changito monkey stamp.  She's colored it and added three little brown buttons on the side.  Isn't this just the cutest card?  Sandi, this made my day, bless you for your kindness and encouraging card.

Karen, thank you for yet another get well card.  You are amazing!  I love the lattice punch you used on this card.  You used on of my all time stamp sets.  When it retired, I couldn't give it away.  Thank you for blessing me with yet another one of your gorgeous creations.

I had fun with a friend tonight.  I used her Just Believe stamp set.  I can't believe I didn't order this set!  It's so me!  My friend was tickled that she had something that I didn't have! LOL
I colored the stamp with razzleberry and olive markers, huffed, then stamped on white paper. I bordered each white panel with black paper then ran it through the big shot. So quick and easy.  I can see making many of these cards with different words.  Thanks Jane I had a great time with you tonight.

Here's your food for thought video- I Will Rise by Chris Tomlin

Thanks for stopping by today.  May tomorrow be all God wants it to be for you!
Blessings,
