Friday's Here

Today for the challenge you had to use a snowman and then distress you card more like you would for a guy card.  This is a stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers that's not even out yet. Faith sent it to me because of a problem I had with a small stamp in another set. I didn't expect a whole set, just the stamp that I needed. Isn't Faith Amazing?

This set is called Snowman Country. I immediately thought of it since I just got it.

I stamped in Versa Mark then embossed with black ep. I colored with markers and added liquid applique. I heat it then peeled most of it off with a craft knife. I wanted a bit of texture only. I added the saying and used my heart punch to get the heart. I used white ribbon to finish the card off. The cup and heart have dimensionals behind them.

A friend and I went out to Toyrifix in Smithville tonight.  We shopped at the stamp store in the back and totally missed seeing Tammy by minutes I"m told!  Darn, I wanted to meet her in person.  She makes all the cards that are on disply there and they are just gorgeous!  She sells them for $2.00 believe it or not!
My friend and I had a great time shopping in the little shops by The Barn restaurant.  We stopped in Wadsworth for dinner at Marie's for pizza.  Best pizza around.  I really enjoyed my meal there.
I also really enjoyed my evening with Jan.
Bless you for stopping by.  I pray that God is working in your life and that you are letting him do that.

I've been seeing posts about this place on SCS. I may have to make a fall trek to Patti's and drag her there (I'm sure I'll really have to twist her arm to get her to go shopping with me)!!!!
