Remember Nhu

This morning in our services a very special young woman gave her testimony. She is Nhu who lives in Thailand. When she was 10 years old she was sold by her grandmother to be used as a sex slave. It was the only way her grandmother could put food on the table. Out of that horrific experience, God stirred the heart of a business man to remember Nhu. This man has since started this non-profit group, adopted Nhu, lives in Thailand continuing to work to keep others off the streets and from the horrible abuse that comes from having next to nothing in countries all over the world.
Check out their site for more info.

Today I plan to catch up on all the things that have gone by the side since I started working on the craft show and things at work.
I have a group of ladies coming Friday to stamp.  I  can't wait to see how it goes.  This will be the largest group so far. God is working in my life.  This morning when I was dropping off things at the Remember Nhu booth for them to sell, a woman asked if she could host a workshop?  Is God good or what?  Thank you God!
I hope to get some stamping done today.
Guess what, I got some stamping done today!  I am working on the projects for Friday's workshop.  What do you think of this one?

Here's my rendition of the card that I saw on Sharon's website.

I stamped using Lovely as a tree, tree. Then put riding hood red through the big shot with vintage wallpaper folder. Then I used the ornament punch to make the ornament. I used silver cord around the ornament and taped it on the back of the white cardstock. I used Merry Christmas from Cardinal Christmas and the stamp-a-ma-jig to get the words where I wanted them. I then used the scallop trim border punch on the riding hood red paper. I put the garden green paper through the big shot with the vintage wallpaper folder.
I also may not use the silver cord going to the top of the card.  I cut that off and it looks cute just hanging from the lower branch.
I've also been giving lots of thought to my son Ben's post on his blog.

I've also been enjoying listening to this song by Chris Tomlin-God of This City
See what you think.

Well, I hope you've enjoyed your weekend, and enjoyed the video.  There truly is no one like God.  You'll never have anyone here on earth better than God.  He loves you no matter what you've done.  Did you catch that last part?  NO MATTER WHAT YOU'VE DONE.  There's nothing you've done that will keep God away from you.  Believe it, it's true.  Don't let Satan tell you God doesn't love you.  That's a lie, something He's good at.  If there's one thing you believe it's that God loves you no matter what.  He's waiting to be invited into your life.  He doesn't come unwelcomed.
When I accepted Christ I was on my knees from the pain an suffering that was going on in my life at the time.  He sure did have my attention!  If it wouldn't have been for those low points in my life, I wouldn't be here now writing a Christian blog.  It's amazing how he turned bad into good........who would have thought that he would do that in my life.  It shows how much he loves us.  He didn't give up on me and he won't give up on you.
May you be one with God and seek His will in your life.
Blessings from a sad Brown's fan...........lost in overtime today.............sigh..............
