New Years Eve 2010-Out with the Old and In with the New

Today is the last day of December and 2010. Are you ready for 2011? Not sure if I am or not. I stayed up late last night stamping of course. Here's what I made for the Free For All challenge on SCS. It's the cutest matchbox which holds cards.
I found the pattern for this matchbox on Renee's blog

I wanted to find a quick, easy 3-D item for my next workshop. Anyway, I made the box then saw the F4A45 challenge where resolutions should be depicted in your card. So here's what I came up with. I made a flower from Build a Blossom then added a small flower with the words For You which was colored in markers. I used retired sending love designer paper and an antique brad in the center of the flower.

Sarah and I went to the mall to see Tron.  It's a sci-fi movie with a new world created which Sarah really likes.  She's read books like this an loved them.  It gave us a little girl time together.  We weren't sure if she was going to be going to a friend's house or not tonight.  It turns out she's here and tired.

I get to stay up and pick Ben up from the church new year's eve party at 1 a.m.
They started at 1 p.m. and will go for 12 hours.  I can't imagine being with sr. high kids that long.  But that's why the advisors are specially picked by God!  They love it and so does the Sr. High Pastor and his wife.
They found their calling and so have I.  I love to teach children with special needs and also make cards to encourage people.
What are your gifts?  You know you've been given something special from Go don't you?  Yup, He gives us all special talents to use for His kingdom here on earth.  I hope you are using yours. If you don't have a gift that you know of, pray that God will reveal it to you.
Thanks for stopping by.  In just hours we will begin a new year.  Make this year a God-filled year.
Bless you,
