Tonight is the end of a long week. Whew, what a week! I've had stress headaches each day. Our weather was wonderfully warm..........hit 60 degrees I think. Winter returned this evening with gusting winds and cold air.
I spent the week getting the things the kids needed to go to the Believe Event. Sarah was going because it was a jr. high event. Ben was going as a Sr. High adviser. He's such a rule follower that I feel sorry for the students that are in his care! LOL He's always been a rule follower. Is that a trait of the first born child?
Anyway Wednesday was his birthday and that was church, so we went to dinner Tuesday. He love Mexican so we went to El Rodeo. It was okay but not my favorite place to eat.
Wednesday I finished shopping for his gifts and wrapped them after dinner. He delayed giving me any kind of list until the very last minute.............grrrrrrr
I dropped the kids at church and finished my shopping for Ben at the Christian Book Store. They had what I needed, Christian music, a devotional, and desk calendar with encouraging verses for each day.
Thursday the kids had to pack and be at church at 5 to leave for their trip.
Tim took me to dinner after dropping the kids off at church. It was weird not having the kids around at night making hourly trips to the kitchen to eat or drink something. It's funny how you get used to that kind of thing ya know?
Today Tim had to go to the airport to pick up the fish he purchased. He was off today and enjoyed time to himself. This week he worked Sunday through Thursday.
Tonight he took me on a date! We went to the movie Unknown, then to dinner at an Italian Restaurant called Italian Village. I love homemade pasta!
Now home chilling out and getting some time for me.
I've known throughout the whole week, that no matter what happened, I needed to give it to Jesus and not take it back. I needed to lean on Him and let others around me know of my prayer requests and concerns.
I have been enjoying this music lately. Listen and see what you think.
I am so glad that I work with Christian lady. This week when she had a prayer request for her son we stood together holding hands while I prayed and we both cried. What a wonderful gift it is to work with another Christian. I am truly blessed with my life. I know that for sure.
I thank you for stopping by. I hope to get some stamping done tomorrow! It's been a crazy week!
This is a place where I can share my love of family, stamping and the Lord.
