Happy Valentine's Day!
Today was a weird day. Why is it that we have to celebrate Valentine's Day at school? Most classes have parties. Why? I'm into love and all, but kids are so excited to exchange cards and eat the candy that comes with the cards. We had a day with behaviors today. One of my students appeared to be talking to himself. He pulled his hair then yelled at himself to stop pulling his hair...........weird huh? It was a bit freaky since I've never seen this behavior from this kid. I'm chalking it up to not enough sleep and too much sugar!
Another 4th grader came to my class in a mood...........my oh my.........she about snapped my head off first thing this morning. I tried to be nice, but finally said, if you can't pull out of this you might as well go to the principal now.
Our Crisis Intervention Team was called to the cafeteria when a student lost it because she didn't win the raffle they had at lunch time.................she had a crying meltdown but nothing that our team needed to deal with. UGH!
I went home on time today. I had a headache and just wanted to sleep. I kept fighting it all day. I just couldn't stay awake. I came home and after dinner got some time to chill out.
When Tim came home he brought flowers. What a guy! He said the store he always goes to was crazy and filled with guys stopping for flowers. The shop actually had a policeman getting people in and out! LOL
He said there was a long line at the register. He walked to the front of the cash line. No one was paying cash, but he did and walked in and out.
I love carnations so he got me a dozen carnations that are sitting in my craft room right now. Aren't they pretty? They smell so good to me and that brings so much happiness to me. Imagine this, God loves you MORE than the person on earth that loves you the most. Isn't that hard to wrap your brain around that one?
Check out the words to this song by Kutless. It's amazingly helpful when we're stretched beyond what we think we can do. God is amazing in His encouragement. This was on a friend's blog just when I needed to hear it. God's so faithful. The title of this is What Faith Can Do.
Give this a listen and I pray it encourages you.
This is the card that I made following the directions from Karen's video. It was easy and fun to do. This is my entry for TLC312 ~ Shadow Box Card on Splitcoast Stampers site today. TLC stands for Technique Lovers Challenge.
I have to thank and praise God for helping me sell cards yesterday and make over one hundred dollars to donate to the Sr. High for the Peru mission trip. Every little bit helps.
I hope your day is a reminder of how much you are loved by God and others in your life.
Blessings for stopping by to see how I'm doing. I"m still fighting a headache so I'm going to get some Excedrin and chill out somewhere.
This is a place where I can share my love of family, stamping and the Lord.

Sorry to hear about your challenging students yesterday. It takes a special person to do the job that you do : ) Glad that I could share the song.
