Dreary Sunday Is Fun Anyway!

I've been having fun making cards with these beautiful papers that Jane let me borrow and that I bought yesterday. I want to make gorgeous Mother's Day cards to sell at church for the missions trips people are going on. Here they are: Isn't this paper yummy?  It was in a small pack I bought at Micheal's which has 18 sheets of decorator paper in it.  I used my SU scallop oval die and cut out the designer paper and reversed the scallop then got my embossing folder to match that.  I used a nestabilities oval for the Mother's Day Greeting.

This Easter Carrot Candy Box is a pattern that I printed from Laurie Furnell Designs.  I traced it onto SU paper then scored and cut it so it would be ready for my Friday night class.  They liked it.  The bunny is an old stamp that was donated to the card ministry.
This is Easter Morn, an old SU set.  I used glossy paper and did crayon resist on it.  I was trying to use up old designer paper.  I like how this looked.  We made this Friday night as well.
Nothing cuter than a Penny Black image huh?  I loved this little guy when I saw him.  He was a great deal since he's on wood and they were getting rid of the wood stamps. I edged things in black. I used the SU tulip border and some of this gorgeous designer paper.
I wanted to try different colors for the next card.  This is daffodil paper with the pretty sunflowers and stripes. I sponged the edges of the scallop oval image.
This is a card we made Friday.  I was showing ladies that they could use the same supplies and get a different look. They enjoyed moving this circle all around to see where they liked it best.
Here's that little Hedgie again.
Here's a flower that was cased from Vickie's Gallery on SCS.  Check it out here.  Hers is so much prettier but I gave it a shot. She has another flower in her gallery that I want to try.  I like the affect of the line drawn with a bone folder on the flower and leaves.
I really like how this turned out.  I stamped on the daffodil cardstock then added Happy Mother's Day on top of that.  I punched it out with the decorative label XL punch then cut around that using cherry cardstock.
Well Peter Furler, formerly of News Boys, is back with a great song which talks about the love of God and how loved we all are. Give it a listen. It sure is reassuring to know, no matter what he's still there. No Matter what:No person here on earth can say that.

Today  has been a good day. I got so much done this weekend. I'm still working on cards for Friday but with Jane's help I've gotten all of the feminine cards done.  I have to do about 25 masculine cards.

Bekah Shae has a great song called, Here In  This Moment.  Give it a listen.

Tomorrow is back to work so it's time to get to sleep.  Thanks for stopping by.
Bless you,
