Peru Rewind Was Incredible!

Today I got to take part in the sketch challenge on SCS.  Here is my card. I usually use this stamp on its side like he's laying down, but today I stood the image up and it looks great that way too!  Who would have thunk?
I liked the colors too as it's not typical pastel baby colors.  The stamp is House Mouse and the saying is one donated to me which is rather old.  It just seemed to go so well with the image.
Here is one of the masculine cards we'll make at Card Ministry Friday. I need to make several more masculine cards.  I need to try to keep these cards a little bit more simple to do since all ability levels come out to help.

Tonight we sat through a most incredible review of the Peru Trip that Sarah and Ben went on.
Here's a picture of the worship band which Ben is a member of.  That's Ben in the back.
Here is a picture of Sarah with a little Peruvian girl.
Tonight they told a story about a girl in their youth group who has been plaqued with terrible back pain since she was in an accident when she was 12.  She was healed there in Peru!  After lots of prayer because she was in such pain, she went up the stairs to her room.  When she got to the landing, her pain was gone!  She dropped to her knees and was laughing and crying because it had been so long since she'd not had pain, and she was so happy that God had answered their prayers.

Another amazing story was that the group met a family who had just had twins.  They were homeless and one baby was sick.  The family didn't have money for shots, or medicine.  The kids took up a collection and bought food and needed supplies for the babies and family.  They called home to our church and Sunday they took up a collection for the family.  They wired the money to the family who were able to afford to rent a house, and feed the family etc.   What an amazing story.

It's amazing how God used those kids and how he stretched them beyond what they thought they were capable of.  I guess there's lots of lessons to be learned here.  We too can be stretched beyond what we think we're capable of.  We can't see what God sees.  We see our limitations and add more excuses when God asks us to do something that is out of our comfort zone.  We need to pray that God will help us to move outside our comfort zone so we can be the tool He needs us to be.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Blessings,
