I haven't been able to play this challenge in soooooo long. Today is the day woot, woot! I had fun with this layout. I colored my poor little sick mouse with a blender pen and ink from lids of ink pads. I sponged the oval edges and added amethyst paper for the card base, bashful blue paper and ribbon and plaid paper from DCWV The GlitterSweet Stack.
Thanks Toy for another great layout!
Here is my second card for today's challenge. I loved this layout and had another piece of that beautiful plaid paper so I thought I'd try again, this time horizontally.
Isn't this a sweet mouse bringing some flowers to a friend? This is a Penny Black stamp called Scented Garden. This was colored with ink from lids of stamp pads. I used Copic markers. I stamped 'for you' and added SU pearls. The border of the image is sponged with pretty in pink.
I have one more day of work this week. Hope that's for you! LOL My kids have to do face-to-face time with other kids and adults from home schooling group so Friday we all go to Heini's Cheese Factory. We will have a tour then shop and of course eat. LOL Not a bad way to spend a Friday. I love Amish Country.
Saturday in Akron, I will be selling things at a Stamping Scrapbooking Garage Sale. I've done this for several years and done well. I try to price things to sell so I don't have to bring it home and store it. I know I could go on ebay and sell things, but then I have to do so much to get set up, sell, send, etc. I like simple, so I've done this to help me go through things and weed out what I've not used and allow someone else to use it.
Is there anything prettier than a new baby? Here's a friend's new granddaughter. What a precious soul right from Heaven. I love this cuddly, sweet time with a baby.
Time to get ready for another day at work. I'm blessed by having God helping me. I've finished putting my report cards and comments into the computer. Now I have to do the education plan reports.
Feeling better today. Thankfully I was able to return to work today.
Thanks for visiting.
Blessings,
