Home Sick Today

I don't know what's going on but I have had a bad headache and nausea all day. I've tried Excedrin, sleep and even chocolate but nothing seems to be working. So I decided if I'm going to feel lousy I might as well make some cards. Here's what I've been up to today. For the color challenge I made this card using chocolate chip, baja breeze and river rock.  Here's my card for today's challenge. I've not played the color challenge in quite a while. Home sick today hoping to feel better soon.
Stamped Bordering on Romance in black and colored with a blender pen using baja, river rock and choc. chip. I took the die from the white piece of paper and traced around it then cut it out. This gives a narrower layer. Cool huh? Then I added a dessert of baja folded ribbon. Then I added the pearls. The border is sponged with choc chip. The white layer is popped up with dimensionals.

Then I checked out Mother Mark's Teapot Challenge and did a card with butterflies for Joan.  I finally got to play again. Woot woot! I loved this challenge Cindy. This is my all time favorite butterfly from SU from Wonderful Wings. It's been retired a long time but will never leave my stash as long as I'm alive! LOL
I embossed the butterfly with black ep. Then I colored with the blender pen using calypso coral, cameo coral, peach parfait, tanerine, pretty in pink and saffron. I added clear embossing powder to it to bring out the colors. I love how it does that, it really makes the colors pop. It is mounted with a dimensional in the center so the wings are lifted up a bit.
Check out this song from The Story called If I Could-It tells about Adam and Eve.
Having another gorgeous day in Cleveland.  On the first day of Spring, we're having beautiful summmer day. Too bad the pool's not open yet. LOL
Thanks for stopping by.  May God Bless you.

Oooooh, I can't stamp when I have a headache. You, on the other hand have made some lovely cards! Love those pretty flowers, and your coloring of the butterfly is so realistic!
