Last Day of Summer Vacation-Thanks Hope

Jim Brickman is one of my favorite performers. I like to relax and reduce stress by listening to his music. I saw him in concert one time and he's so personable and interacts with the audience. One gal even got to sing a song with him. Here's a song that I found tonight that I liked, so I wanted to share it with you.  It is called, Without You In My Life.

I had some time to make a few cards today.  Take a look.
This is a card with the pillow top technique.

Here's my card for free for all 131 challenge. You were to use bright colors. I used the Wedding Cake set from Sweet N Sassy Stamps. The background is from here called pillow top background:

The image was colored with copic markers then iridescent ice was applied to the white sections using a versa marker. The cake was attached to the dizzy doily from my favorite things. I layered the ribbons a 1/6" black layer behind background stamping.

This is a MDS2 page I made for the SU only challenge this week where you needed to use a photograph.

Here's a picture of Ben while out with friends.  Facebook is great since I can see what his friends post. LOL

 I saw this on FB and had to re-post.  We've always thought of our children as a gift from God. We dedicated them back to him when they were babies and they have both dedicated their lives to God and been baptized. Praise God for all of the gifts he gives.

Today the infamous Hope, sent me a packages with goodies in it. At the top of my list was to Thank Hope for reminding me daily this week, that I must return to work Monday.  It's been a fun week Hope. Thank you for the goodies.  Love your stamp and ribbon on this card.  Is that Amuse?
