Sore and Tired

I have to tell you that today wasn't as bad as yesterday, but I am very sore tonight as a result of one of the kindergartners. He refused to do things from 11:00 on and was causing problems so I had to carry him out of the room to the principal's office. The principal walked the kid back and had him sit at his desk. It wasn't long before he was trying to ruin things in his desk. So he was again brought to the principal. This child continued to cry, scream, kick and hit, in the office. Then he started trying to hurt himself by hitting himself in the head, the body, then tried to scratch himself and bite himself..................Eventually he went home with mom. I have to tell you that this is not what I signed up for. I can teach but can't run after kids down the hall and can't carry them to the office when they act up to the point of yelling and screaming in the classroom. I relaxed a bit at home tonight with some tv and a dvd. Then I got busy making something to show you. This is a cute double pocket card for two challenges on SCS. Thursday you were to make something that would make you smile. Saturday's SCS challenge is the inspiration challenge. Here's the inspiration picture.
I really loved the turquoise color and how it popped with the other colors.    This is a double pocket treat holder made by watching Dawn' video found here
I used Orchard Harvest SU designer paper and added a strip of flowers cut using the ek flower punch glued on top of pacific point paper. This wraps around the back. I colored the Suzy Zoo stamp called, You're Special. I added the saying separately and made a banner. There is a white eyelet with ribbon through it to hold the pocket treat together. You can put candy, a gift card, tea or a special note in here to give to someone. This is sure to bring a smile.

Blessing for today: My two most difficult students went home at noon.
Thanks for stopping by,
Blessings,
