Mom's in Hospital and a Skunk I Did See!

I found out today that my mom's in the hospital for tests.  She was admitted yesterday at noon for vomiting and bleeding.  They are running tests to see what's going on.
Prayers for her would be appreciated.
I made a card today for the color challenge from Tuesday.  Better late than never though.  The colors were Midnight Muse, pumpkin and Cajun.  I love the sponge the paper and get a layered effect.
This little girl was made for the Featured Stamper for today on SCS. I think she's just darling.  I love these little pure innocence images.
Here are some of the Christmas cards we made Friday night at Card Ministry.

A Parent's Wish to be sure.
A skunk story---Emily and I arrived at her house after Card Ministry and what do we see, but a furry skunk digging up her grass for grubs which shouldn't be there because the Scott's man treats the lawn for that very thing.  I'm so very glad I looked before I leaped out of the car!  This guy was 5 feet from me.  He left and went through the bushes and we thought he was gone.  As we began walking down the driveway to the back door, who do you think we see again?  Yup, Mr. Skunk was walking across Emily's driveway to get to the neighbor's yard!  Yikes I yelled, do you have a front key?!  He scurried away unaware of us at that point.  (Thank Goodness)  We wondered where we'd find tomato juice that late at night! LOL  God sure does keep us on our toes doesn't he?  He's got a sense of humor to be sure!

Blessing of the Day:Tim and I went to our Bible Study at church and came home and did our homework together.  It's a marriage class called, Storm Proofing Your Marriage. It is to make our marriage stronger.  It's not his type of class but I really wanted to take this, it was important to me so he's doing it.  Our marriage is worth it.
Thanks for stopping by,
Blessings,

Stampin' Mom of Four said...

I pray that your mom is okay. ... We caught four skunks this summer in a trap - once on a day I was having a stamp camp. Randy didn't have time to remove it before work, so my dad came and let it go in the woods. Be careful if skunks are out in the daylight. They can be rabid!

Elf Shoe Cards

I saw a sample of these cards when a friend gave me cards for Southwest Hospital this month. Thank you Louise for sharing this idea with me....
