Dark Cloud Dark Cloud Go Away........

     I've been in a funk today.  Not sure why, but Ben turning 18 yesterday really affected me more than I thought it would.  I've also been praying for Sarah and I realize that I can't do more than that for her.  God is in control and it's hard to let Him do what He needs to do in both of us.  I heard a song that gave me comfort tonight.  It's called Promises by Sanctus Real.  Give it a listen.  If you're dealing with something I pray that it comforts you too.
Sanctus Real - Promises (The Official Lyric Video) from sanctus-real on GodTube.
Tim and I shared a time of prayer and after that I started to feel a bit better and found this song.  Thank you God.
     I had some time today to stamp and here's what I did. I am participating in the LOVEFEST 2013 on SCS.  It is being sponsored by the 10 companies on SCS.
     I chose to make a 3x3 box with cards. I used daffodil paper for the box and marina mist for the top. I added designer paper Sunshine and Sprinkles to the front and added Martha Stewart flowers. I used SU delicate details paper lace for the top with marina mist ribbon.
 Here are the matching cards for the 3x3 box I made for this challenge. I used stamps from Patterned Occasions an SAB set. I cut out the images with the smallest die from Apothecary Accents. Each image was sponged with either mambo or marina mist inks. I added marina mist to white card stock strips then added the images with dimensionals.
 Here's my card to honor Mary. Here is my inspiration. Here is my inspiration.  I used the same set and layout but different colors. I masked two of the flowers and cut out the center flower and leaves. Instead of a button and ribbon, I used the new SU brads.
  This was a fun challenge! Here's what I used:
L=love stamp
O=oval, orange
V=Vanilla, Valentine
E=Embossing and Edging
Orange is hard for me to use so I made it part of this challenge even though I had the oval. I stamped the coffee cup from Pattered Occasions and SAB set from SU. I used a Martha Stewart border punch and a Sizzix embossing folder. Lastly I added little heart rhinestones to the center of each heart.
 Here's my card for this glittery challenge. I colored the cat with copic markers. I stamped this at a friend's house a while ago so I don't know the name of the stamp, sorry. I used heat and stick powder on the image and added dazzling diamonds. Behind the image is gold sparkly ribbon. The paper is also sparkly.
Sarah's home from her weekend retreat with her youth group.  Tomorrow we'll get to talk I hope.
Blessing of the Day: God brought a peace to my heart and soul.
Thank you for stopping in today.
Blessings,

Thanks for sharing the song. I've heard it before, but I hadn't paid close attention to the words. It did bring me comfort. Praying for you!
