Snow Day, Been Busy

Friday was a Snow Day for us.  What a complete surprise!
Tim sent me this photo then I found the second one.

Here are some of the cards I made for challenges on SCS this week.
I made this with the SU flower builder punch for the kisses. I used itty bitty banners stamps and framelits. I crimped the paper and added to button hearts with rhinestones. Love the bling made with that pretty red and silver glitter paper from SU.

I needed a card for hubby and saw Michelle Zindorf's cards a while back and wanted to try it. I made it my own with some changes that I'll list. Michelle's tutorial can be found here. http://zindorf.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/page/4/
Instead of stamping the mug image on acetate and putting that on the white cardstock then color it in, I stamped a second mug on white cardstock and cut it out. I cut the handle off and put it on the other side.
I added marshmallow hearts to the mugs and the white lace tape from SU as well as rhinestones in the center of the snowflakes. I used my craft knife to cut around the mugs with the white tape. Michelle is an amazing stamper.

Here's my card for today's inspiration challenge. Here is my inspiration. http://www.etsy.com/listing/93673291...necklace-with?
I followed the tutorial by Michelle Zindorf found here.

If you've never looked at her tutorials you owe it to yourself to do just that. She has amazing artistic talents.
I didn't do all of the layers Michelle did. I also used a black brad no silver. I used the lacy brocade embossing folder instead of the fancy fan one.
Thank you Michelle for sharing your talents with us.
Thanks Stef for giving us great sites each week to be inspired by.

Here's my card to honor Beate. Here is my inspiration.

Beate loves to layer, frame and use lots of feminine details. I stamped on glossy cardstock with black stazon ink. I used various colors of pumpkin, peach parfait and daffodil to color this. I cut it with the SU labels collection framelits. I added it to designer paper by SU called Print Poety Paper Stack. I love the new designer brads. I added some of my dp to the center of it.

I found this on FB from my friend Val.  Thanks Val for finding things that I need to see and take to heart.

Proverbs 4:25-27
Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.

I'm so enjoying listening to Tenth Avenue North Music tonight. Here's one that is for everyone.  You are God's Beloved.

Blessing of the Day:I got my Easter Cards for Card Ministry made.  Now all I have to do is cut the paper.
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
