I made a few cards today and it felt GREAT to stamp and color again. These cards were to honor Laura Nehring as the featured stamper this week on Splitcoaststampers.
Here was my inspiration for this card.
I used Sycamore Street designer paper for her top and accent paper. I colored her with Copic markers and used my SU embossing folder for the background. I added dimensionals under the text and image. I used the candy dots and added two dots to make them look like buttons for her jar. Her flower in her hair has a rhinestone in it.
I noticed that she colors lots of girls and animals. I also noticed she likes to paper piece. So I did an animal card and a sweet Pure Innocence card in honor of Laura. Here is my inspiration for this card.
I changed the colors but tried to keep the layout the same or close. I noticed Laura likes to layer and frame things on cards. Love that!
Colored image with Copic markers and added rhinestones to the flowers. I added dimensionals to the image and text. I used the beautiful baroque embossing folder for the background and small strip.
Do you remember a while back when I told you Sarah made a wonderful Chicken Parmesan? Well here are two pictures of it.
Here's the recipe as well....Yum! This is the picture of it when it came out of the pan.
Then you put sauce on it and serve. This was amazing! Thanks Sarah.
A neighbor of my mom's died Friday and her visitation is today and the funeral is tomorrow. I'm praying for her hubby and the family. I babysat her kids and spent many hours at her house playing cards. Until we meet again Barb, I know you are in God's house now and loving it!

It's so hard to get moving today. I feel like I've been run over. It's amazing how much 12 hours in the car can take out of you. I've felt tired and head-achy all day. Gotta get Sarah to church tonight so I guess I should get some more coffee and Excedrin!
Here's a song that I heard again today. I also heard an interview with Jeremy Camp about it. It's about how God can still love us in spite of how we continuously sin and disappoint Him. He loves us unconditionally! That's a tough one to grasp for me at least. We don't have that kind of love here on earth. I'm so very thankful that I have it with my Savior!
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
