Stampin' Up Convention

This is one of the best companies to work for.  It's amazing all they do!  Check out this convention video.  I didn't go to convention but love to see the theme for the year and how they help others.

I made a card today and made lots yesterday when Emily came over.  We do stamping therapy.  Speaking of Emily, she had hand surgery today so any and all prayers are welcome.  She won't be able to stamp for about 6 weeks......but by then she'll be back at work. Yuck!  That's why we did therapy yesterday.

Here's my card for today's color challenge on SCS.  The colors were bashful blue, marina mist and calypso coral.
One of my students was absent yesterday.  The first thing I heard was from another student in my room.  He came in the room and said, "We lost Josh!"  When I asked what he meant, the assistant said, He's absent today we didn't lose him. LOL  When our supervisor came in this young man told her we lost Josh to which she looked at us for an explanation.  She laughed when we gave her the explanation.  She knows this student so it wasn't as off the wall an answer as you'd think.

I made chili yesterday and so enjoyed it with the family and Emily.  I love, love, love it the next day or the day after.  Had it for lunch today.  Nothing like it!

I will get pictures of the other cards I've made and post them soon.
Sarah went with me to get veggies for our Bible Study tonight and helped me clean and cut them up.  What a sweetie.

Sarah came with me to help gather the needed items.  Today for some reason each time I stood up and put weight on my right foot, I got a shooting pain in my hip.  So I"m using my cane with the hopes that this settles down.  So Sarah was so sweet and helpful telling me to sit down and she'd get things for me.  So great to see her compassionate heart.

Here's a new song by Skillet called, American Noise.  Take a listen. The album cover is a little creepy but the song is great!

Blessing of the Day: Sarah's compassion and help today.  Our Bible Study with Chuck and Maryanne
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
