Walking, Working and Stamping

Tonight Tim and I walked a mile at a brisk pace.  We walked longer today and got home faster than yesterday.  It was so hard for me to do, but I'm so proud of myself for doing it.  I'm praying that this will continue.  I need to do this and it's nice to do it with Tim.

Today I got lots of work done around here. I do a few jobs then make a card, then do a few more jobs.

This is the card I made today following a video by Tami White.  I made it my own by making my pallet a little different, and I put diamond glaze on the brush and the colors on the pallet.  This was fun to make but very time consuming.  Lots of punches were used on this. Check out my SCS gallery for list of punches used.
This card was made for the Clean and Simple challenge today.  You needed to use a scrap of ribbon.  I had some gold baker's twine on my desk so I used that.  I made the balloon with a circle nestie, and used a heart punch upside down to tie the twine onto.  This was a quick and easy card to make.

The first card is Heidi's card which was my inspiration for my card, which is second.  Heidi was chosen as the featured stamper this week.
This is a double-penny slider card was found on Dawn's blog.  I made this card for the Queen For The Day challenge.  The first card is Dianne's card which I used for my inspiration.
This card was for the Technique Lovers Challenge today on SCS.  You had to have a pinwheel on your card.  The dog and wall were stamped at a friend's house so I don't know who makes them.
Saw these two quotes on FB today and I wanted to post these as a reminder to myself.  Sometimes each day brings struggles, but if I focus on God and what he can do, FIRST, it's easier to move through difficult times.  It's easier than doing it my way first, then having to undo what I've done and ask God for help, ya know?

This is a new group for me.  I just saw this on FB from our local Christian radio station.  Give it a listen and see what you think.

Blessing of the Day:Reached 1 mile tonight!
Thank you for stopping by.
Blessings,
