Mugs, Cards, Hoodie

This is the picture I took last Saturday before we started sorting through all of the mugs we have.  We are mug collectors as you can see. We especially love pottery mugs.  We weeded through all of these mugs and picked out those that we HAD to keep.  You know, the mug you child makes for you or brings you from a foreign country.  Next we took a pitches with 12 oz. of water in it and poured it into each mug.  If it could hold the water it stayed.  I kept three smaller mugs for tea.  Most of the ceramic mugs were weeded out.  Most of them were given by each other throughout our 21 years of marriage.
This has been bothering Tim for a while, so we finally got around to this task.  The mugs were packed to be donated to a garage sale PHCA is having in May.  (Maybe I can go back and get a few of them back?) LOL

Isn't this the cutest kitty?  Phoebe seems to be so photogenic no matter what she does.  She is under our kitchen table getting ready to jump up into the chair with the pad to her right.
This is a card I made using the NEW Stampin' Up embossed paper.  The dotted paper is white and you sponge or spray color onto this paper to match your project.  At first I didn't want to purchase it.  Then I saw cards with it and had to have it. I sponged this with mossy meadow and tangerine tango.
This paper has vines on it which I sponged with olive ink.
This is a card I did for an SCS challenge.  Love the birch trees embossing folder with this.
This is another set I didn't get until I saw cards done with it. The butterfly is stamped then cut out with a butterfly die.  You get 15% off if you purchase the stamp set and dies together.
This is that same designer paper which I sponged with Blackberry ink.
This card was made by cutting out the butterfly and heat embossing it with clear embossing powder. Then I sponged the butterflies on the background using bermuda bay and tangerine tango.
This is the Birthday Bash designer paper cut out using the large butterfly die from Stampin' Up.  I used a butterfly embossing folder for the background.
This is a stamp set I borrowed from Patti.  I'm trying different things with it.
This is a stamp from Serendipity Stamps.  I won a gift certificate from them for playing in the SCS Cards made for ladies with Cancer.  I liked this for a masculine card.  I want to come up with some cute things for him to say.  It looks like he's smiling, so I wanted something that would make him smile after he said it.
These are two cards I made using Jane's window stamps.  I masked the windows and stamped a small scene in the window then added the sunset colors.

Would have loved this hoodie when I was teaching!

It's time to get to bed soon.  I am going to try to go to PHCA tomorrow.  I have some back pain but feeling better than I did last night.  I went to sleep at 9 p.m. with a fever and pain.

Blessing of the Day: Sarah said she'd take me to the dr. today if I got an appointment.  Bless her heart, that offer was unprompted.  Thank you God for continuing to bless me.

Thank You for stopping by.
Blessings,
