I've been coloring with the new Stampin' Up alcohol markers, called Stampin' Blends.
There are 27 markers in the set so far. They are sold separately or in a set. There are a light and dark marker of the same color. There are also skin tone markers called, ivory and bronze. The last marker is a color lifter. It can push ink away from an area and make it lighter or push ink back inside the lines of coloring.
This card was colored with Pumpkin Pie light and dark. I also used old olive and daffodil delight markers.
This card was colored with Pink Pirouette light and dark as well as old olive and yellow.
This card uses razzleberry light and dark. I also used olive for the leaves and perfect pearls for the flower centers.
This card has pool party light and dark on it. I pierced holes in the scallops and added perfect pearls to the centers of the flowers.
This is a note card that will be sent out this week. I'm really working on sending out cards to family and friends.
This card is a combination of tangerine tango, cajun craze and soft suede. I used tranquil tide for the leaves. I masked the flowers so I could add the leaves.
This card was my color challenge card for the week. The colors were blackberry bliss, tangelo twist, daffodil delight and black.
Verse of the Day: Mark 13:11 Have you ever been in a situation where you've said something to someone and afterwards you think to yourself, "Who said that?" I have and it's an amazing moment when you learn that you were given what to say by God. You hear yourself speaking but know that what you are saying wasn't in your head but given to you. To know you were used by God is a great feeling.
Here is a new to me song by Aaron Cole called, Right on Time.
It talks about God's involvement in your life. He's never late, He's always on time. Give this a listen and pay attention to the words.
Blessing of the Day: Ben and Rachel came to dinner. We got to see Harper as well.
Tim found out he will start his new job next Monday if his paperwork all comes back by then.
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,

What a wonderful collection of cards, Sue. I love the details - pearls, soft embossed backgrounds and all your beautiful colour choices.
