Llama, Cards, Crocheted, Peace

It's a cold and rainy day here in NE Ohio. I pulled these cute, soft and warm socks from the drawer. My two little ones gave them to me for Christmas. Looks like the llamas are sleeping.. This is a great day to go back to sleep, or cuddle up by the  fireplace and read.

Here's the first baby blanket of the new year. It will be donated to Laura's Home, which is a charity for homeless moms and their kids.

Here's another scarf. I just finished it last night. With basketball games on and college football, I've been able to work on these projects while watching T.V.  That way I don't feel like I've wasted 3 hours watching TV.

This is the inspiration for my cat card.
I loved the colorful bubbles and the cut out circle on Pat's card. I made my card using colorful presents, and a circle cut out of the birthday paper. I kept a circle for the sentiment. The images were stamped with memento tuxedo black ink and colored with Prismacolor colored pencils. The table was dry embossed with a wood like embossing folder. This little kitty is eager to get the party started, but she'll have to wait a bit longer.
I
I enjoyed making the cat card, so I made a dog card as well. These are Gerda Steiner stamps from a set called, On The Table. It's amazing how a circle in the center of the card changes it so much.

This is a card copied from Linda Bauwin, found here. When I did my tulip, I didn't glue the front two tulips together. I'm not sure how I like it better glued or not.

This is one of the cutest new stamps from Stampin' Up Here is a link to the directions to make it. I changed the stamps I used but used the design of the card.

Check out the design of this card. This is part of the new Stampin' Up Poppies bundle. I love this paper. Here is a link to the video of how to make this card. I changed my layout a bit. I wanted my two flower pieces together with a top and bottom border.

When I saw this stinkin' cut box, I knew I had to make it.  Here is a link to the video, how-to.

Take a listen to Gateway singing Give Me Your Peace. If you're stressed, listen to this song and relax.

Blessing of the Day: My friend Louise came over and we stamped together. We haven't seen each other in 3 weeks so it was nice to catch up with her. She's the one I made the cards and box with today.

Tim's getting things done in the bathroom. He's grouted the tile around the tub. He's cleaned the tile after doing that. He's measured and cut the tile which will meet the baseboards. He's put the floor tile down. It looks like wood, and is so cool looking. He's grouting that too.
I'm so thankful for him and all he can do.

Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
Bensarmom

Beautifully made blanket and scarf! So great that you are able to craft while you watch TV. :)
And so many fun and lovely card creations. I love the design on the tulip!
