Inspiration Challenge-What Would You Have Chosen?

Today on Splitcoaststampers site is the Inspiration Challenge.

Julie chose this site for inspiration this week.

My inspiration is here. I loved the blue colors and the way that the color went vertical and horizontal.
Here's my card. I used an embossing folder that made diamond shapes instead of squares. I inked the debossed side so the white would show up like the lines in the tile on my inspiration piece.

I dry embossed the white cardstock then dragged the ink pads across the paper lightly. This colored all but the debossed part of the cardstock.
I stamped, colored and die cut the mole and plants.
I dry embossed the strip of crumb cake to make it look like small rocks or dirt for the mole. I stamped the greetings on the balloons then added baker's twine for strings on the balloons. I added all images with dimensionals.
Keywords: IC1018
Stamps: Gerda Steiner-Little Things, birthday stamps unknown
Paper: white, balmy blue, pool party, crumb cake
Paper Size: A2
Ink: Balmy Blue, Pool Party, Boho Blue
Accessories: SU retired Macrame 3D embossing folder, rocks embossing folder, heart and balloon die, Gerda Steiner dies for plants and mole, dimensionals, Copic Markers, baker's twine
Techniques: dry embossing, coloring, direct to paper, coloring debossed side of embossing
Looks like I got a release paper from my dimensionals on my card. If you're like me, you find these all over the house! LOL

This is just another way for me to learn and grow at my craft. It also uses retired items and other items in my stash.
This card will go to the Nursing Home for someone to use.  I love making one-of-a-kind cards like this sometimes.

Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
Sue
