It's Challenge Time again and this time it's Featured Stamper on Splitcoaststampers.
Our Challenge-Welcome to this week's Featured Stamper challenge!
This week's Featured Stamper is Patti McDermott. Patti's gallery is filled with elegant florals, bright happy scenes and clear demonstration of her talent at many techniques. I know you will enjoy looking through this gallery for inspiration!
I chose this card in Patti's gallery as my inspiration.
Here is my card.
I kept the rectangle but changed mine to a portrait style and instead of having the green be the frame, I made it the background and made the image panel look framed. I added seeds to my watermelon. I know we get them these days without seeds as Patti shows in her card, but watermelon on a card without seeds isn't watermelon! LOL
I stamped the left piece of watermelon first, then masked it and stamped the second piece. I stamped two pieces instead of one. I also added ribbon. My image panel was popped up with dimensionals.
This card will go to a local hospital to be placed on a dinner tray. I pray it makes someone smile and feel a bit better.
This is a quick, easy way to make a card. Some of the creating is done already. You just have to supply how you'll make it different and make it yours.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Blessings,
Sue
