Today on Splitcoast the challenge was to use score lines in your card. Here's what I came up with.
This is my card for Ways to Use It 173 where you had to score your card in some way.
I used very vanilla behind the lighthouse and scored it vertically and horizontally to make a net-like background. I used At Home paper to add a masculine look to the card as well as twine.
The lighthouse is watercolored with crayons and an aqua painter.
I have to tell you this and the bird are some of the nicest stamps to watercolor. They are from Our Daily Bread Designs. I saw these stamps online when they first opened and had one set. I was particularly interested in them because I have a Card Ministry at church and was looking for Bible verses we could add to our cards. Take a look and see what you think.

What a breathtaking card. Reminds me so much of Montauk, Long Island. Thanks for sharing =)
This card is wonderful. I'm going to go and check out their stamps. I'm not sure who, but someone had a beautiful scripture box on their blog and I want to copy it. Hope I can find it again.
I love the papers you used!! Great card!!
