Peace is Nice

I had such a wild Friday that the weekend was a welcome respite. I never got to make a card until Sunday evening, but then I got to make 3!
This morning at church I was truly on my way to being so stressed.........front row, a family with a 3, 5, 7 year olds sit down. The three year old was in laps, on the floor, talking, whispering, everywhere but in the nursery like she should have been. I had to pray that God would allow me to really hear what was going on today and not get side-tracked by the family next to me. I was able to relax and truly listen to what was going on.
The music this morning was uplifting and really spoke to me. I love to sing, and love music too.

This is for Inspiration Challenge 144 using animals. I used Washington Apple design paper behind the kitten. I tried to use the colors from the paper in the image. The image was colored with markers and dabbed with a dauber with bashful blue.
Isn't he the cutest kitty?

This is another image that was given to me. I used the new Washington Apple paper and framed this with bashful blue. The words were stamped with versa mark, and embossed with black ep. Bashful blue was sponged on with a dauber. I think this is so striking. The image was embossed with black ep then colored with markers.

Here is one of my specialty papers, brushed gold that I put through the cuttlebug. I wanted to showcase the cuttlebug so I placed the image down and to the left. The image was given to me so I'm not sure the maker of the stamp. It's so pretty embossed in gold and colored with markers then stickles added to the flower centers.

I am tired and need to rest so I'll be ready for a full week at school. Praying for cool weather.
Thanks for your visit.
Blessings,
