Cards-Hope-Frozen Yogurt

I followed the directions for an easel card found here: This was the color challenge for yesterday.  The colors were Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Indigo, Gray, Pool Party.  You were to use at least 3 of these colors and add something extra to the challenge, which is called dessert.  I used indigo, cabana, and bermuda bay for colors on this with white. I chose using twine as my dessert.

I stamped the ornaments in indigo and bermuda bay then cut them out with the ornament framelits. I added baker's twine to each and attached to card with a dimensional. The twine was wrapped behind the indigo layer before it was attached to the card base. Christmas Blessings was stamped in indigo and cut out with the key tag punch. The text and indigo layer were cut out with square punches.
This card was for the sketch challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.  I stamped in cabana ink and sponged the edges. I added cabana paper and cabana dsp. The put this on curry cardstock for the base. I added 3 black pearls to the bottom.  This was a fun and easy layout.
This is a new video by Toby Mac to honor Billy Graham's 95th birthday and My Hope.  This is an amazing video.  See what you think of it.

Today was a Mom/Sarah bonding day.  We left to go to lunch with Tim.  The only reason Sarah went though, was to go to The Igloo after lunch for frozen yogurt. LOL  We had lunch at our favorite coffee shop then drove to The Igloo.  OH NO, it's CLOSED!!!  It doesn't open until noon and it's 11:24!  Such sadness you've not seen.

We had to drop Tim off at work, but Sarah and I proceeded to drive to Menchies in Strongsville.  We arrived at 11:45.  OH NO, it's CLOSED!

We decided to go to Pat Catan's across the street to look around.
We looked around for over an hour then went to eat our frozen yogurt.  YUM!  I had a small amount of yogurt then added blueberries and raspberries and a bit of hot fudge.  Sarah on the other hand, eating as a 16 year old can, had lots of yogurt, candies and hot fudge.

We got a cup for Tim and brought it home and put it in the freezer for him.  We were going to take it to him at work, but it was so late due to our shopping that we thought it would be a more fun surprise here at home.

I finished the photo directions for my last project for the stamping group Friday.  These are step-by-step directions for the ladies to have to take with them.  I'm seeing that they are more apt to order if they can duplicate what they made with me.  I couldn't have done this while working full time.

I got to talk to my former assistant last night.  I felt so badly for her.  It sounds like work is more and more stressful.  I'm so glad I retired, but so sad she has to still be there. Praying for her as she is a dear friend.

Well, it's time for sleep.  I get to volunteer tomorrow and it's early for me.
Blessing of the Day: Fun time with Sarah Annie.  Rachel my daughter-in-law found out what was wrong with her and now she can work to control it.  Praise God.
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
