The Simple Woman’s Daybook

The Simple Woman’s Daybook

FOR TODAY November 14, 2013

Outside My Window...it is dark and cool. It gets dark so early now, I hate it!

I am thinking...that it is time for bed soon and it's only 10 o'clock!

I am thankful for...fun times with Sarah.  I have this year with her home and next year who knows where she'll be.  This is her senior year.

From the kitchen...all is quiet except for Sarah throwing away her ice cream container.

I am wearing...clothes I went to volunteer in.  I dressed up a bit today.

I am creating...bags of projects for the ladies who will be stamping with me tomorrow.

I am going...to get some cleaning and organizing done this weekend.

I am reading...Billy Graham's newest book, The Reason For My Hope.

I am hoping...that tomorrow I can stamp some fun cards after I finish pulling things together for my class.

I am hearing...the sound of the clock at my desk and the heat just turning on.

Around the house...all is quiet as it usually is at night.

One of my favorite things...is watching shows or movies I like on Netflix.  I don't have to be confined to watching at a certain time on a certain day.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:continuing to go through my files in the basement and my office closet upstairs. Lots of organizing to do there and here in my craft room.

Here are some pictures I thought were worth sharing...
This first picture was taken from a plane between layers of clouds. Isn't it beautiful?
This is a veteran looking through cards that were made by Operation Write Home, the group I send cards to.  I so love knowing that making cards helps their morale in a small way.  It also helps family cuz they receive cards from their loved one.
Here's a wedding picture I just love; You May Kiss The Bride!  Never seen the groom pick up the bride like that! LOL
Have you seen and heard this sweet little girl online yet?  Take a listen, she's 3 years old and has special needs.

Blessing of the Day:I got to make lasagna with Sarah.  It tasted great, especially with garlic bread. YUM!
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
