The weirdest thing happened as we were sitting on the back porch. We actually saw fog rolling in. It was so cool to see it arrive and continue to get more foggy. I've never seen it before. I've always gone out in it once it's arrived.
This morning to our surprise, we saw the Baltimore Oriole back at the feeder. She is eating the jelly from the cup hanging from the chain. We thought they'd gone but apparently, not.
This little chipmunk has had himself a day. We saw him climb up the chimney there to the rooftop. He proceeded to run to the gutters, and the roof. I've never seen a chipmunk climb like it was a tree!
Then he tried to climb the metal pole to get some goodies, but only got this far. He tried a couple of times too.
There are two groups of cards that I made using images of flowers that I stamped, then matched to designer series paper that is retired. I don't know what type of cards they will be until I hear from South Carolina Juvenile Justice System. It was easy to cut out the images with oval dies, add ribbon and a card base.
I stamped then colored the image with inks and an aqua painter. I added clear wink of stella to the scarf. I cut the image out and a gray circle using the scallop circle dies. I stamped the sentiment then used the key tag punch to cut it out. I used a sponge and coastal cabana on the edges. I added the circle and sentiment with dimensionals. I dry embossed the card base with the coffee cup embossing folder.
This is for two of today's challenges. Lyn challenged us to stamp with ink pads. Kia is celebrating her birthday so her challenge was to use balloons on her card. I used assorted distress ink cubes for the background. I cut white card stock and dry embossed it with birthday images then punch out balloons and sponged them by tapping them to get the color I wanted. I added baker's twine and a dimensional to each balloon and added it to the card. I used a glue dot to attach the twine.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 121:7
Blessing of the Day: Tim continues to make progress on our bedroom. Today he cut the wood he'll need for the wainscoting. The paint is done, the new door is on the attic, so we can stand up to get into the attic.
Today I got to stamp with a new friend who came to a class I held. I truly enjoy stamping with people. Her sense of humor seems similar to mine. We enjoyed our time together.
Thank you for stopping by.
Blessings,
