Cat on the Head and Card Challenges

As Tim sat enjoying his morning coffee, Chloe got comfortable.  She placed her feet on Tim's head and occasionally hit him with her tail. Her eyes are open, so you know she knows exactly what she's doing! LOL

The clean and simple challenge was to make a card of things that remind us of France.
I stamped my image then tore around it. I used antique linen ink to make it look aged. Then I sponged the edges with early espresso to make it look burnt or worn. I inked the embossing folder, then embossed it in the Big Shot. I added distress glaze to the finished image.
Our challenge was to make a card that shows, I'm melting!
I instantly thought of, The Wizard of Oz, where the witch is melting into a pile of gunk. I giggled, then continued on thinking of what stamps I had that would fill this challenge.
I stamped this image and colored with copics and zig clean color pens. These cuties always make me smile!

  Here was my inspiration

I sponged the background in the window and colored the otter then fussy cut him so he could grab the window sill. I used different dsp and made wood panels for below the chair rail.

Our challenge was a sketch. I stamped the center flower and covered it with a mask. I stamped the other sunflowers then colored the center flower to match.

The challenge was to paint a rock.
I drew a cactus and added a background using a black sharpie marker. I colored the sky yellow and colored the ground, brown. I made clouds using liquid applique. I drew the clouds then heated them with a heat tool so they'd look puffy.
SCS just finished a 2-day challenge fest. I love to be challenged. It expands my thinking and enables me to use different stamps that haven't seen ink in a while.

Blessing of the Day: God kept me safe driving through hard rains to finish errands.  I got to see my grands today.  I am making cards, and that makes me feel blessed because they will be sent to those who need it.

Thanks for stopping by,
Blessings,
