Counter top, Cats, Cards, Oh My!

Woo hoo! The counter top was put in the guest bathroom today! Aside from the nasty adhesive smell, it went well.  Tim's gotten so much done from flooring, to electrical, painting and adding the shower frame! I can't believe this will be finished in a week or so.
I finished this child's afghan with a stitch called, The Wave Stitch. Chloe says she thinks it would be better if it stayed here. I'm going to try another afghan like this soon. I like the effect of the wave.

I never know where Chloe will be. This is where she was when I came downstairs this morning. She was just waiting for Phoebe to come by so she could jump down near her and scare her! Sometimes she's such a brat!😄 She looks so innocent doesn't she?
This is for the crafters of faith challenge. This month's challenge is by Faye. Here it is:

Scripture: Psalms 63:3-4 make a card to express your love of God.

Challenge: February is often thought of as the month of love. I want to think of the love of God. Using this old hymn "The Love of God is Greater Far"

I stamped the images with versamark then then heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then I used my aqua painter to color the images. I used the dies to cut out the images. I added the images with dimensionals. I added petal pink metallic ribbon then the sentiment.

This is a sample of a card using the stamp set called, The Gang's All Meer. I'm making several cards which use the same stamp set to show how different cards can be made with the same stamps.
Here's another card with the Meercats.
This is the Valentine's Day gift I have for my customers this month.  This was quick and easy to make. I'll make it closer to Mother's Day with my class.  This was made by, Brenda @ Qbee's Quest. She has one with butterflies, the heart and a daisy one too.
Here's part of my Valentine's Day decorations. One year, Tim and Ben gave Sarah and I a Valentine's Day party with stuffed animals, streamers, balloons and things to make us feel special. These are some of the stuffed animals.
Here are a few more of the stuffed animals from Tim and Ben.

If you are feeling down, please read this.

Our area just got a Culver's restaurant. I found out today that the same owner owns the Strongsville and Avon stores. I'm so glad this restaurant is closer to us. They have the best burger and fries. They are cooked when you order them, so they are hot when you get them.  The meat is fresh not frozen.  They have lots of different foods as well as ice cream.

It was crowded, but most of the people were sitting down already. We were taken care of as we walked in the door. I'm so impressed with this place.  Service and good food will keep them here. This chain started in Wisconsin.

Verse of the Day: 1 Corinthians 15:57-58
Blessing of the Day: Tim and I got to eat at Culver's Restaurant. They have the BEST burgers and fries. They butter the top of the burger. YUM!
Tim was able to run 4 errands and didn't come home tired and complaining!

For those who can relate: I received a Stampin' Up order today and had to leave it on the table while we ran a few errands then went to lunch. When we got home I had a headache so I took a nap. That box didn't get opened and put away 5 hours after it arrived!  I've never had to wait 5 hours to open and use something I've ordered from Stampin' Up! LOL

Thank you for visiting.
Blessings,
Bensarmom
