Penny Black Saturday Challenge

 Hey  Everybody,

Here's something new for me. Ya gotta try new things, right? I made a card for Penny Black Saturday Challenge. I found the challenge from a blog I follow by Leslie Miller. She is the guest designer this month. You can find the challenge here.

Here is my card. This cutie pie is an old Penny Black Stamp. I got him years ago to celebrate summer vacation. I was a Special Education teacher who really loved her summers!

The cat was stamped with Memento tuxedo black ink then colored with Copic Markers.

I drew a horizon line with a 1" x 1" ink cube of balmy blue. Then I used a cloud punch to make a shape  to use to form the groups of clouds with sponge daubers and balmy blue ink.

The water was make with balmy blue and misty moonlight inks and torn paper that I sponged against with daubers. The water was colored with clear Wink of Stella to make it glisten. I added black behind the image then Bright and Beautiful designer paper behind the image  panel. This was all added to a black card base.

Well, there you have it. I've stepped out of my comfort zone and posted somewhere else with a card. Thanks Leslie for your blog and wonderful inspiration.
Blessings,
Sue
