Hey Everybody,
I'm back again with another challenge card for you.
Our challenge today from Jeanne was to use torn paper. Here is her challenge.
Keywords: F4A807 |
Stamps: Textured Notes |
Paper: white, pecan pie, basic beige, SU Ever Eden designer series paper |
Paper Size: A2 |
Ink: pecan pie, old olive, |
Accessories: linen thread, SU faux glass dots, dimensionals |
Techniques: paper tearing, stamping off-generational stamping |
I stamped the images collage style. The smaller leaf stems were stamped off once before being added to the paper. I stamped on designer series paper to have a more textured look. The woven image was stamped off as well. I added pecan pie behind the image panel then designer paper behind that. I torn the designer series paper and centered it at the top of my card. I wrapped linen thread around the image panel and knotted it. I added the glass dots then added dimensionals to add the image panel to the card base.
Anna's challenge was to use flowers. Here is her challenge.
Keywords: MIX654 |
Stamps: SU-Spotlight on Nature, Unity-Windowsill Woodlands |
Paper: white, black, SU Dandy Garden designer series paper |
Paper Size: A2 |
Ink: memento tuxedo black |
Accessories: scissors, Glitter pens, clear Wink of stella, Copic Markers, dimensionals |
Techniques: coloring, stamping off-generational stamping, fussy cutting |
As I was reading this I saw words like, generational stamping and fussy cutting. It occured to me that some of you might not understand those terms. Maybe I should begin a stampers dictionary. What do you think?
I'm so glad you stopped by today. I hope you try these challenges. What flower stamps would you use? What paper would you tear? You could actually combine both of these challenges on one card. Give it some thought.
Thanks for taking time from your day to spend it here.
Blessings,
Sue
