Nothing Like Family

Today we had my mom over for lunch. The two kids prepared lunch for her. Today it was set up buffet style so Grandma could make her own ham/cheese sandwich, then make a scrumptious salad. I was truly impressed to see that the kids also put out a bowl with ice and tongs along with many beverages to choose from. I was so proud of their efforts which were done without my help. (I guess I've trained them well!)
The kids invited grandma to make a card with them after lunch. We had a mini workshop and the kids showed her step by step how to make the card. It was fun to watch them interact with grandma. Grandma got silly when Ben kept using stamps after she did. She began to stamp on Ben! I was thrilled that my mom tried stamping since she tends to put off doing things that she's never done before. So I'm posting a picture of Grandma's card and the fun they had making it.
