Almost There and Brrrrrr

As the week moves on we get closer and closer to our Family Fitness Night at school where we will have our raffle. Here are two more items that will be in the raffle as well.

This is a gift card holder I made using an envelope, that will be used for the raffle we're having at work to raise money for the American Heart Association. I made 9 of these for the gift cards that will be donated. This is a white envelope that I cut at 4". Each piece was sealed, then stamped. The bottom part was crimped and tags were added to the top with a dimensional. I used Flight of the Butterfly and stamped in eggplant, pink pirouette, pixie pink, amethyst, apricot, turquoise. I made 9 of these and hopefully every one will be filled with donated gift cards for this cause.

This is a cover for a calendar that will be given away at our American Heart Association Raffle Thursday Night. It will be part of a gift basket I'm making. I used Flight of the Butterfly and stamped in eggplant, pink pirouette, pixie pink, amethyst, apricot, turquoise.

We will be dipping into single digits here in Ohio tonight. We are supposed to have a wind chill below ZERO! Can you say SNOW DAY!? All of the kids and staff are hoping it's too cold to go to school tomorrow. When I hope for it I don't get it so I'm pretty sure we're going to go to school tomorrow. It's so funny to hear the students talk about doing a snow dance so they can stay home. I told them we love to stay home too and they just looked at me like I live at the school!
I used to think my teachers in elementary school lived there. I saw them go in and come out of a mysterious door throughout the day. (That door was the teacher lounge, However at 6 how was I to know where teachers went after they went through that mysterious door!) One student years ago couldn't believe I got paid to come to school. He said, "You get paid to do this!?" "Yup, I do imagine that.............."
Well feels like I have a sinusitis so I'm going to try to sleep and hopefully get into the doctor tomorrow.
Bless you for stopping by. Keep warms wherever you are.
Hugs,
