I've enjoyed these days off with many things getting accomplished. We put up Christmas decorations Thanksgiving evening. We wanted to do it this way so we could sleep in the day after Thanksgiving. In fact most of us had a jammie day. I love jammie days, don't you?
Ben and Tim got the Christmas tubs out of the attic. Sarah brought them down and put them into the rooms they belonged in. Then we all went to work on an area. I had the foyer, kitchen and living room. Ben and Sarah had putting the tree up and lights on. Time helped and guided them with this, but he also helped me. We broke our old record of 3 hours with 2 1/2 this year. It's amazing when everything is organized how quickly it can go.
Last week Sunday, when it was nice, we even got the outdoor lights up. Check it out. When you get those netted lights it's so quick and easy to do.
I've gotten a lot of shopping done online.........just love doing that. I have trouble walking and standing that long since surgery on my hip, so it has helped to be able to shop online. I hope you have started your shopping and will enjoy the days leading up to Christmas. Even with all of the decorating, we remember that it's Jesus' birthday, not a day of presents for us. It's really important to remember that especially in times like this where many won't have a holiday like they are used to. Praying for you and yours as you go into this holiday season. Remember the REAL reason for this season. Jesus our Savior.
Thanks for stopping by,
