A Graduation Banquet For Ben

Tonight was the Senior Banquet at Church.  It was a very nice evening.  They served turkey with gravy, rice, green beans with almonds, rolls and butter.  Yum, I went up for seconds on the green beans. :)

Pastor Steve gave a sermon first then asked all of the seniors to come to the front and tell about their favorite memory from youth group, where they were graduating from, what they would be doing next, and what veggie would they agree to eat if they were away from home.

It was interesting to hear all of the different stories of favorite things and where everyone is going.  Some were going in the service, some to college, some didn't know just yet, and that's okay.

Here is a note from Facebook from a senior high adviser that involved Ben.

Favorite Refuge Class of 2013 memory.....Peru 2011, Ben Craig, Amanda DiDonna, Elly Martin, Larissa Fisher and the rest of our team were doing an "Ask the Lord" day seeking where God wanted us to go that day. We went in search of a blue house and a soccer field and got caught in an Amazon Rainforest downpour, but we found the blue house. We shared the gospel with the people at the blue house and as we were heading back down the road, we saw a soccer field. We knew we had been where God wanted us :) Memories like that are hard to come by! Love you class of 2013!

Ben Craig, Amanda DiDonna, Elly Martin, Larissa Fisher, this is for you.

Here is the card I made for Tuesday's color challenge.

This card was made for ways to use it: use string on your card.
This is a pretty picture of Zinnias that I found and have on my desktop in honor of Tim who planted Zinnia seeds for me.  Isn't that sweet?

Have you been feeling overwhelmed right now?  I have and found this song which soothed me knowing I'm not alone.
