Getting Ready To Leave For Austin

Today brought a late start for me.  I must have been exhausted last night because I slept soundly until about 11:30 a.m.  Sorry Hope, I know you were ready for lunch and I was just waking up for my first cup of coffee. LOL

I got some cleaning done and general straightening up done around here.  We leave for Austin at 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.  See Hope, I'm making up for sleeping in!
We have to go to Akron/Canton airport which is about an hour from here, then fly to Detroit, then to Austin.  We should be in about 11 a.m. in Austin.  Then we have a busy day..............I don't even want to think about it.  Luckily I don't have to since Tim has our itinerary all sketched out!

I can't believe the time has come to take Ben to Austin where he will work from Aug. 15th through December in the U.S. Office of the college he'll be attending.  In January he will begin taking classes to prepare himself for working in the African orphanage in Cameroon.  I keep thinking, Cancun, and wish he were going there, because it's closer.

We will be picking up his car and getting things for his apartment.  I am amazed at how quickly this has all come to be.  It was just yesterday when he was born, and toddling around with a baseball in his hands wasn't it?

I know there will be tears Saturday morning when I have to leave him all on his own in Austin, Texas.  Please God help me to do just that.  It's your plan for his life and I have to trust you.

I also got to clean out many file drawers of teacher things and recycle them.  A bittersweet time to say the least.  Sarah helped me with that.
